5. Third-Party Services
Trouba does not use third-party services for data processing unless explicitly required for functionality. One such service we use is Gravatar for profile images.
- What is Gravatar? Gravatar (by Automattic) is a globally recognized avatar service that allows users to associate an image with their email address.
- How does it work? When you use Trouba services, we may send a hashed (encrypted) version of your email address to Gravatar to check if you have an associated avatar.
- What data is shared? Only a hashed version of your email address is shared. Gravatar does not receive your actual email.
- How to manage your Gravatar? You can manage or delete your Gravatar image by visiting Gravatar’s Website, Also see Gravatar’s Privacy Policy.
If you do not want Gravatar to be used, you may disable profile avatars in your Trouba account settings or avoid using an email linked to a Gravatar account.
Currently, no third-party services process your data unless required for a specific feature.
6. Security Measures
- All transit of data is encrypted via SSL
- Your files and personal data are stored on servers exclusively located in Switzerland.
- Only authorized personnel can access sensitive data.
However, no system is 100% secure. If you suspect a security breach, contact us immediately.
7. Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If a child’s data is discovered, we will delete it immediately.
